MacDonald Highlands is a guard-gated community in Henderson, Nevada secured by two guard-gated entrances: the Valle Verde gate and the Stephanie gate. The top-notch security of this community includes a 24-hour patrol. A third guard-gated entrance will be added in the future as the community grows. 

MacDonald Highlands also includes a number of secondary gates to access certain parts of the community, including:

  • The custom homes on Dragon Ridge Drive
  • The custom homes south of the roundabout on Liege Drive

Dragon Rock by Blue Heron is located behind a secondary gate within the guard-gated community of MacDonald Highlands. The neighborhood contains 51 properties with lot sizes ranging from .27 to 1.23. Some lots are nestled in the mountains, amplifying desert views and maximizing privacy, while others offer incredible Strip and city views.

Dragon Peak Drive by Blue Heron
Dragon Peak Drive by Blue Heron is located behind a secondary gate within the guard-gated community of MacDonald Highlands. This BH Elite Neighborhood contains 31 custom homesites with lot sizes ranging from .49 to 2.46 acres. The upcoming Four Seasons Private Residences Las Vegas, set to debut in 2026, will be nestled within the guard-gated community of MacDonald Highlands. Developed in partnership with Azure Resorts & Hotels and Luxus Developments, Four Seasons Private Residences Las Vegas will feature 171 high-rise residences and six standalone villas, boasting contemporary desert design and resort-style amenities. The residences will provide a blend of opulence and intimate comfort, enhanced by panoramic views of Las Vegas. Planned amenities include a signature restaurant, a wine bar, private chef services, private wine cellars, multi-level resort-style pools, cabanas, an event lawn, pet and auto spas, a gym, and a spa with a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and lap pool. There will also be a library, screening room, community boardroom, and catering services, among other wellness and leisure facilities, ensuring a luxurious and convenient living experience for the residents​.

Tucked inside the guard-gated community of MacDonald Highlands, DragonRidge Country Club stands as a premier golf destination in Henderson, Nevada. This 18-hole championship course, designed by Jay Morrish and David Druzisky, spans 170 acres of rolling hills, elevations, desert arroyos, and striking volcanic rock formations. Since its debut in 2001, the course, with its 6,975 yards and par of 72, has been a golfer’s paradise. It took home the “Gold Winner” title for “Best Golf Course” in 2021 in the Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Poll. Beyond the main course, DragonRidge Country Club boasts a vast 60,000-square-foot practice area, complete with an all-grass driving range, two sand bunkers, and two bent grass putting greens.
